Its so funny how some react when there is a strain in relationship. For instance, if person A and person B fought and Person A realised the mistake. When he realises his mistake and tries to rectify things, Person B cares a rat ass. Its so sad that some people don t know how to resolve problems. Why is it that friendship is treated carelessly and not family relationships? Would you just walk out of your relationship with your brother or sister just like how you do with your fren? I feel that all relationships should be treated equally. But why some act so childlishly? I mean keeping the venom of hatredness in their heart and not understanding that the word 'forgiveness' do exists. Why can t some be matured? I still don t understand their psychology... its weird

For a long time, i have been thinking of learning Muay Thai (Thai boxing) martial arts. I feel, in my opinion, that martial art is particularly important for women's self defence. Of course, one is free to choose the kind of art they want to learn. I was watching BBC documentary on karate a couple of days back. The positioning of your fingers plays an important and how invasive one could break eg: a wood or plastic board... And not forgetting a casade of steps that follows for every step a perpetrator makes towards his opponent. Alertness is extremely important as steps are usually predicted by the opponent... eg: When the perpetrator makes a first move, the perpetrator is able to predict his opponent's step be ( provided his opponent is trained in martial arts skills).
I chose Muay Thai over other martial arts for two simple reasons. Firstly, its an ideal martial arts that trains equally on both the upper and lower body. Secondly, Muay Thai is ideal for women.
Please feel free to share your experience or opinions on various martial art (eg: Judo, Karate, Teak- Won-D0, etc)

I was rewatching a Tamil movie titled 'Kilakku Cheemayilae' casted by Radhika, Napolean and Vijaykumar... In that movie, Radhika was repeating battered by her husband fighting over for her family wealth... I mean, why are women always the prime targets? Some husbands abuse their wives verbally, physically and mentally... Some treat women as punchbags. Oh a good example is 'Provoked' where the wife was showered with abuses repeatedly from her husband... The movie also depicted dowry issues. I still don t understand the rationale behind the dowry issue. And a heavy wedding expenditure is to be bored by the bride's family... Only very few families don t accept dowry and this is rampant among the Indian families... I wish this situation could be reversed.
